More Cards for 2010

Hello, hope you are all keeping wrapped up warm against the snow here in the UK? Here in Lincolnshire they reckon the temp is staying between -2 to -4C Brrrrrrrr We are soooo not used to this weather, think we have become quite complacement about how we deal with it. :^)
So, now its the time of year when the kids, small & BIG, start to get excited cos 'Santa is coming!!' My own son, 21, & hubby, I think are the worst! lmao They want the decs up, and have already started to ask 'Whats Santa bringing me?' They are just a pair of big kids! hehehe
Anyhow, here are a few more cards I have made which are ready for posting to hopefully bring a smile to someone's world :^)

Some cards for Christmas 2010

Here are some of the cards I've made recently, most of these will be in the postbox, snow allowing, by tomorrow. So they will be winging their way to friends doors & hopefully enjoyed by those that get them.

Oh me, oh my, I haven't posted for a week or so, tut tut on my part lol
So, here is what I've been up to...
Got my beads, findings & tools out, had a think, had a trawl, then buckled down to making these Candle Drapes/Baubell drapes. The beauty of these is that you can use them to go round a baubell & then once Christmas is over, you can then drape them over a candlestick. Versatile or what?? lol
Anyhow, hope you like them...

A New Thing...

Hello, well first I need to say sorry for not posting in such a while, but things don't always go to plan, do they? I ended up in hospital for 2 weeks, during which time I had a Lumbar Puncture and they found out I was Iron deficient Annemic (?) so all good fun... not! lol
We also had a tearful goodbye to Ruby, one of our hens, at least she had a good life while she was with us, scratching round the garden & getting cuddles from 21 year old lads. What more could a hen want?
Anyhow, onto my 'New Thing' I have decided to give you a freebie once a week of my card sheets. This could be a card, backing paper, insert etc anyhow, sure you get the idea. Pinched the idea from a fellow designer of mine at Craftsuprint, Carol Clarke, so hope you don't mind Carol?

Hi there, well I'd hyped myself up to see the neurosurgeon on Friday just gone. Got up early, did what I had to do, left nearly an hour and a half to get there (should only take 30 mins!) We still hadn't made it to the town and I only had 10 minutes to get there! So, with head hurting, called hospital who told me they would have been lucky to see me an hour later cos there was roadworks & 2 accidents had happened too. So, no, I didn't get to see him :(
On a lighter note, the 'Girls' are well, seems they all decided to give us an egg today, so now I have no excuse NOT to bake a cake, then hubby said... 'Hmmmm Love, any chance of a quiche too?' Cheeky bugger, so looks like tomorrow is going to be spent in the kitchen! Hope you're all well, and I need to ask a favour?
PLEASE can any of you think of a challenge for me? Card wise, cos I do love a challenge!!

Well, I think I found my mojo hiding under some very nice lilac parchment paper, so decided to put it to good use and made a card. Not stopping at just the one, I ended up making another 3... go me! lol

First off, just want to say sorry for not being able to post for a week or so, things are/were getting me down a little & I was struggling to find my mojo. Then again, I think we all lose it every now & then.
Here are a couple of cards I recently made from sheets I bought from craftsuprint, yes, I know I design for them, but I also love the other designers' work that I buy the sheets so I can have gorgeous cards too! lol

Our Girls

Well here are a few pictures of our Girls, Ethel, Ruby, Alice, Dotty & Beep-Beep. Hubby reckoned Beep-Beep looked a little like roadrunner from the cartoons when we first got her, the way she stood up checking everything out, looking for danger etc. She used to look so funny too hehehe She has settled in well now and is certainly not as skittish as she was. Her & Dotty, both of which are our newest arrivals, have settled in well, and are now coming to eat out of our hand. Dotty has taken to flying over the patio fence & strolling into the kitchen to see what tidbits she can score for herself & the others! Never a dull moment here lol
By the way, that's one of our Son's friends having a cuddle with Ruby :^)

The Pirate Ship

Here is the Pirate Ship I have spent the last 2 days building ready for my Grandson's 2nd birthday on Thursday, so I really hope he enjoys it!!
The template is from a company called Hassle Castle and I just love their stuff!
